North Bend, Oregon

Guest rooms and a cottage a block above Coos Bay, about two miles from the open ocean and less than a mile off Pacific Coast Highway 101.

The Glasgow Bay House

Our North Bend home is a unique older house, parts of which have stood on this spot for more than 100 years, a block above the old ferry site from before the McCullough Bridge was built. The two guest rooms are upstairs, with old-growth Douglas fir floors, cotton sheets, wool blankets and down pillows.

Guests share the large kitchen and living room, where a pellet stove gives warm, dry heat in winter, along with laundry, a backyard and a BBQ grill. The Glasgow Cottage has its own kitchen and private bath.
