Our story

Two houses with history.

These are family homes, hosted by the family, and every guest room has a story behind it.

North Bend: above the old ferry landing

Parts of the Glasgow Bay House have stood on this spot for more than 100 years, a block above where the ferry crossed Coos Bay before the McCullough Bridge was built. Old-growth Douglas fir floors and pine-paneled attic rooms keep that history close.

Longview: built from Mt. St. Helens

After the 1980 eruption took the family's cabin on the Toutle River, lumber was salvaged from ash-damaged timber and milled on a portable sawmill. The house was finished in 1981 and now welcomes guests from all over the world.
